Ingredients: Certified Organic Henna Powder Net Weight: 100g Hennaveda brings to you the finest quality of henna powder, which comes from our ancestral farms in Sojat, Rajasthan, where farming is done in traditional ways, keeping the soil and plants in their best shape to ensure clean and unadulterated henna. Henna, also known as "Lawsonia inermis" has a compound known as lawson (hennotonnic acid), which is a natural red-orange dye. Lawsone reacts chemically with the protein keratin in skin and hair, resulting in a strong stain that lasts until the skin or hair is shed. The soil in the Sojat region has minerals that produce the maximum Lawson content in the rain-fed henna crop, which we harvest only once a year. This area of land has all the prerequisites required for the perfect growth of the plant, from optimum climate conditions to the composition of the soil. Premium-quality henna leaves are manually harvested from the farms, sun-dried for several days, then cleaned and filtered for dirt, sandstones, seeds, and twigs, and finally milled in the world-class Hennaveda unit. A unique and upgraded technology is being used to filter and finely grind the henna leaves at low temperatures so that the highest level of lawone content in the henna is retained.
